(06/08/08) - One week after seeing two players go down with injuries (Kari, knee; Tony, finger) the camels breathed a small sigh of relief as strong rains postponed play for the season's second week.

Commenting by cell phone from his private cabin in Alaska, Manager Mike Halfman stated, "We could use another week to rest up and recover. Besides, I'm still waiting on an official ruling from the league about all the umpire shenanigans from our first game. That guy made me mad, and when I get mad...I travel to Alaska to cool off. That's just the way it is. Now don 't call me with any more stupid questions or you'll make me mad too..."
